The McLaren MP4-12C has been on the road for a few months, but McLaren has now released a video celebrating the arrival of its latest supercar. Watch as the first of many MP4-12Cs roll off at the Port of Baltimore and make their way across America. The video also mixes in clips of former Formula One world champions Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button juxtaposed driving their race cars.
As well as recognizing the best student automotive design talent, Car Design Awards China also acknowledges the school whose students have had the most success in the competition. The Automotive Press Association (APA) Design Panel is the first of several milestones in the annual Michelin Challenge Design (MCD) calendar of events. In keeping with the 2015 MCD Theme of Drive Your Passion: Engaging Senses, Soul and Emotion, this year's panel discussion focused the importance of passion in vehicle design in the high-tech, highly-constrained future. Hosted on 7 May 2014 at the Detroit Athletic Club, over 80 people attended the APA members-only event sponsored by Michelin Challenge Design.
